Why some glues won’t hold
Each glue’s maker lists the surfaces it bonds, and most also name the ones it won’t. Polypropylene and polyethylene, the waxy plastics of tubs, bins and outdoor chairs, are on almost every exclusion list. A glue made for both surfaces and for where the job sits holds best.
