For indoor pieces that fit closely, Loctite makes Glass Glue for glass to metal. Where there’s a gap or it goes outdoors, makers list epoxies and construction adhesives that name both.

Outdoor use as each maker states it. “Not stated” means the maker’s page and data sheet don’t say.
Loctite Glass Glue, and its limits
Loctite’s data sheet says Glass Glue bonds glass to non-porous materials such as metal and certain plastics. It also sets the limits: indoor use only, parts that fit closely with no gaps, nothing over 180°F, and apply it above 50°F. It holds in 15 to 60 seconds and cures in 24 hours.
Two other Loctite super glues, Super Glue Gel Control and the Plastics Bonding System, rule out glass.
Loctite says not to clean the glass with detergent before gluing, because residue can affect the quality of the bond.
Loctite Glass Glue and J-B Weld SuperWeld list both; Loctite's Super Glue Gel Control rules glass out.
Which glass to metal glues work outdoors?
Pick one whose maker rates it for outdoor use, such as Gorilla Epoxy, Gorilla Construction Adhesive Ultimate or Liquid Nails Fuze*It Max. Loctite Glass Glue is indoor only.
The glues that list both surfaces come from each maker’s own surface list, and the Glass Glue limits from Loctite’s data sheet. Checked against published data from Henkel, Gorilla Glue Company, J-B Weld, Eclectic Products and Pittsburgh Paints Company.
