Outdoor use as each maker states it. “Not stated” means the maker’s page and data sheet don’t say.
For a gap, Gorilla Epoxy lists glass and is rated gap filling. J-B Weld’s ClearWeld lists glass too and stays clear when the layer is thinner than 15 mil. Loctite’s Super Glue Gel Control and Plastics Bonding System rule glass out.
For close-fitting indoor pieces, Loctite makes Glass Glue for exactly this. For gaps, a clear epoxy that lists glass and is rated gap filling, such as Gorilla Epoxy.
Is glued glass dishwasher safe?
Loctite says Glass Glue is dishwasher safe after a week. Its data sheet rules out the oven and microwave.
The glues that list glass come from each maker’s own surface list, and the Glass Glue details from Loctite’s page and data sheet. Checked against published data from Henkel, Gorilla Glue Company, J-B Weld, Eclectic Products and Pittsburgh Paints Company.
